Most nights (when Chris is home), after the boys have had their baths and they are in their jammies, Colin will follow me into Tommy's room to sing him his lullaby. Most of his motivation is probably a bit of procrastinaiton of bedtime, but it's still awfully cute.
His special lullaby for Tommy is in the tune of "Go to Sleep", but he adds his own words and makes it go on and on and on and on. But tonight it took an interesting turn. Here's the lullaby as I remember it:
"Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep little Tommy. Colin loves you, Mommy loves you, Owen and Daddy love you. Your pets love you. Everyone loves you. You're so nice. You're so cute. The earth loves you. The earth is ruined."
Uh oh. Looks like Mommy needs to turn off the coverage of the oil spill.
