Vacation Part 1 - Mystic Aquarium

On our way up to Massachusettes we decided to stop at the Mystic Aquarium. It was a good point to stop and stretch our legs and the weather was a little rainy. And Colin has had an ongoing love of Beluga Whales which made this aquarium right up his alley. And, no, I don't know where or how his love of Beluga Whales began.

Seeing some sharks. They had sand tiger sharks and nurse sharks. Colin identified both kinds right away, naturally.



The aquarium also had a cute exhibit where the kids could dig for a sea creature fossil. Both boys found a shark tooth that they got to take home.
