Today the boys and I were leaving Dunkin Donuts where I picked up my new favorite treat (iced coffee, black, with sugar). It is a much needed boost since I don't sleep much these days (thanks O-ey!). This was the conversation that ensued:
Colin: Can we go back to the coffee store?
Me: We don't need to go back, I have my coffee.
Colin: But, I want some coffee.
Me: You can't have coffee, you're too little.
Colin: I'm not little. I'm a big boy.
Me: You're not old enough.
Colin: I'm old! Look!
Me: How old are you?
Colin: Three
Me: You can have coffee when you're twelve.
Colin: I don't want to be twelve.
Me: Okay, then no coffee. Deal?
Colin: Deal.
