Because today was a rainy dreary day, Chris had the great idea of taking the boys to the
American Museum of Natural History. I haven't been there in years and honestly forgot about most of the exhibits. So much of it catered to Colin's interests that he was in heaven. We saw the sea creature exhibits, the Asian animals, ate lunch and then went and saw the dinosaurs. He was a little disappointed about missing the African animal exhibit and the horses, but we were running short on time (which really means we were risking huge meltdowns from cranky boys). Regardless, we had a great time.
Meeting the tiger:

Identifying sharks (if you can see the Wobbegong shark, the sawfish shark and the Port Jackson shark you may know close to what Colin knows about sharks):

Running under the whale:

Owen practicing his newfound pointing skills:

In the shadow of the TRex:

Finally finding the Wooly Mamouth (or as Colin calls him, the "Asian Elephant Dinasaur")

Ta Da!
